Adventure Day with Grandma J!

Grandma J and Lacee flew to Denver at the beginning of August. My parents enjoyed their visit, and my dad even taught Grandma J how to use a laptop. She was pretty impressed she could use such a small machine that wasn't hooked up to the wall in any way but could still work with the internet. She didn't understand how "wireless" worked but sure was happy to check her     e-mail.

My mom took Lacee to The Rio - best mexican food in Denver with the very best margaritas!
Here they all are. My mom is wearing very tall shoes, she really isn't that much taller than everyone.

Great Aunt Mildred, Grandma J and Cousin Don - they sure enjoyed their company. It turns out my mom had to take her principal licensure test near Don's house in West Minister. So she dropped Mildred, Grandma J & Lacee off before taking her test. They spent the day together while my mom took her 3 hour test. Mom passed her test and they had an entire day to recount memories of their childhood. It sure was nice for everyone.
