My parents left me once again. Luckily my friend Alannah lives close and comes over to feed and play with me when my parents leave! This time my parents went to Missouri to spend time with my dad's family at their cabin at Baring Lake. The Sauerberg - Tarvydas-Miller family enjoyed a barbecue & dance the first night, a Wisconson-style brat lunch & wine tasting the following day/night and most important - enjoyed a lot of high quality family time! My cousin Ryan brought his 3 year old daughter Skie, girlfriend Robin and her daughter Bethany with him. My dad had a fun time swimming with the girls and taking them on a canoe ride. Dad was nice and didn't tell them about the crocodiles:0) They sure had some fun in the lily pads though. Good thing those girls like the water, because I throw a fit everytime I need a bath!
My uncle Bob and aunt Sylvia were extremely busy all weekend with a barbecue and wine tasting. My parents were very impressed with their hard work. It sounded like both events were very successful. My cousin Alex is living on her own and really enjoying her new independence! Marcel is a senior this year and has been looking into colleges. Brigita is 13 now. I think she will probably be taller than both my parents in the next year or so (yes, my parents are a pair of shorties)!
